The Bitcoin logo: what it looks like and its history
Most Bitcoin merchandise features the famous Bitcoin logo, now a symbol of digital currencies and instantly recognizable.
Initially, the Bitcoin logo, introduced in 2009, was a gold coin with the words “BC” on it. This logo remained in use for a few months, and featured two capital letters in a traditional bold sans-serif font, with clean outlines and straight cuts.
